 Senior clerics condemn Trump’s Al-Quds decision

Ayattollah Javadi Amoli criticized Trump's plot to move US embassy to Quds. Also Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani said, "The Islamic community should not be indifferent towards this hostility of the United States and Israel towards Quds."

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Several senior Muslims clerics strongly condemned US decision to relocate embassy to Quds.

During his ethics course which was held at the prayer room of international Isra foundation in Qom, Ayattollah Javadi Amoli criticized Trump's plot to move US embassy to Quds. He said, "We hope the United States come to its senses and if it does not, we hope God will return their danger and conspiracy to themselves."

 

Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s office in holy city of Najaf issued an announcement censuring Trump’s conspiracy regarding Al-Quds. "Muslims must get together and unite to deal with this hostile action," the statement said.

Iraqi Shia cleric Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Modarresi also denounced US decision to move their embassy to Quds and said, "This is part of a long chain to occupy Islamic countries that began with World War I, and started to tear Muslims apart, and then the seed of the Zionist regime was planted in the Muslim world."

 

Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani warned against US conspiracy and said, "The Islamic community should not be indifferent towards this hostility of the United States and Israel towards Quds."

Management center of the Lebanese Islamic seminaries released an announcement to decry Trump's plan to relocate US embassy. The statement emphasized, "Management center of the Lebanese Islamic seminaries condemns the cruel, hostile and aggressive act of global arrogance against the human rights, which officially proclaimed the occupation of Quds."
